Following Invitation, a monthlong stay for writer and translator Annika Ruth Persson at the Hannah Arendt Collection, Bard Collage, NY as part of YES! Association / Föreningen JA!s contribution to the exhibition Anti-Establishment at CCS Bard Galleries, Annika Ruth Persson was invited together with artist Andrea Geyer to The Oncoming Corner #2, November 4th 2012.

During the meeting Annika Ruth Persson presented her literary project “Hannah Arendt’s 1940s: Paths, luggage, meetings, writings. 3 narrative essays” and read the text “Dead Mothers” written specially for this event. We are sharing the text with you here: DEAD MOTHERS.pdf

The Oncoming Corner is a series of monthly gatherings that takes place in artist Malin Arnell’s apartment in Brooklyn, NY. It’s a space for sharing our makings, for communising, for socialising, and for us to think together about what these terms can mean and how we can make use of their potential.
