YES! Association / Föreningen JA! visiting New York to participate in a panel discussion during The Feminist Art Project Special Sessions, the 99th Annual Conference of the College Art Association , 9:00 AM-5: 30 PM, 12th February, 2011, at Museum of Art and Design, 2 Columbus Circle
The day consists of a number of panels which focuses on feminist issues in art practice, art history and art criticism. Co-organizers: Johanna Burton, Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, and Julia Bryan-Wilson, University of California, Irvine
Between 11am-12.30pm, YES! Association / Föreningen JA! participates in the panel discussion Institutions and Their Feminist Discontents, along with Jessica Lagunas, artist, and Lin + Lam’s art scene. Moderator: Rocio Aranda-Alvarado, El Museo del Barrio.
