Zafire Vrba är svensk-tjeckisk konstnär och pedagog, född 1980 och uppvuxen i Växjö och Prag. Under 00-talet hade Zafire sin konstnärliga bas i Tel-Aviv i Israel, Darmstadt i Tyskland och i Göteborg. Sedan 2010 bor och arbetar Zafire i Stockholm där hen är medlem i studiokollektivet och galleriet Detroit och i konstkollektivet Corso. Zafires konstnärsskap omfattar pedagogik, performances, film, foto, text och workshops. Verken utforskar och ger kommentarer till frågeställningar om reproduktion, lust, religion, feminism och transpolitik.
Zafire jobbar i olika pedagogiska sammanhang för att etablera Tryggare Rum som ett pedagogiskt verktyg för att öka inkludering och trygghet i lärandeprocesser. För närvarande arbetar Zafire som hantverkspedagog inom Stockholm Stad, som programledare för Sexbyrån på Utbildningsradion, som pedagog på Marabouparken och som projektledare för konstprojektet SVAR PÅ TAL – om verbalt självförsvar. Zafire är även en av initiativtagarna till FAGS – Feminist Art Gallery, Sweetheart.

YES! Association / Föreningen JA! is happy to announce that we will participate in the project WIR SPIELEN (WE PLAY) at NGBK in Berlin.
WIR SPIELEN (WE PLAY) is a series of events concerned with the topic of “we”, an inescapable utterance in the formation of collectivities, two letters that involve alignment, affects, bodies, spatial boundaries and political realities.
YES! Association / Föreningen JA! are invited to make act 5 happen on JULY 23 2013 7PM
